As a clarinet teacher, my safe bet for a refined sound is the Vandoren 5RV Lyre. I suggest M13 Lyre (there’s a difference between M13 and M13 Lyre). Another thing to keep in mind, idea reed strength CAN change based on the mouthpiece. M13 Lyre is generally really good for harder reeds.
The air escapes your lungs through the opening between the mouthpiece and reed. This is a tiny opening so the velocity of the air must be high at this opening. The bell is ringless and has a thumb-wide smoothly-notched groove around the inside (just under where the LJ tenon slips in). All cork was in shape and well-fitted.The New BBoard is now up!
